Nintendo have released information about their 2nd console, falling into the 8th generation set of consoles, which will eventually be filled with the 4th PlayStation console, and probably the Xbox 720…
At E3, a major gaming convention in America (this time held in L.A), Nintendo confirmed rumours that they were planning and developing a new console, which will use software and graphics more sophisticated than either Sony or Microsoft have ever investigated, and a PSP-style controller with a built in screen! On Tuesday, when the conference was held, Microsoft also let out information on Halo 4, and the next Call of Duty, Modern Warfare 3 is also to be released, on an exact date. You may have heard of Project Café, which was the consoles’ codename used in the NIntendo boardrooms and in rumours circulating the web.
This external screen is roughly the size of a Nintendo DS, but can be used to surf the internet and watch films or television. You can even use it for independent gaming! I know I’m definitely looking forward to it, and I’m sure you gaming nerds will be too!
In other news, Sony is releasing their own portable system, called the PlayStation Vita! Further information this this new console, is expected to be announced by the company soon!
