It seems that JAWS has made a comeback. This time he has headed for Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
A great white has been appearing around the areas of Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. Many people are in shock as they have been swimming in the depths of the sea. Tooth marks show that the bloodied fish, a favourite food of the great whites, was mauled in a fooding frenzy. Some say the shark was lured by the mini heat wave others say the shark just came for fun…
Scientists could not rule out the man killers being behind the attack on a stretch if coast popular for resorts like Great Yarmouth. If you were wondering, Great Yarmouth is know well for its arcade’s and beach’s. Many people go there for a day out.
The grim find of the fish was made just 26 miles from another suspected shark attack on a seal in 2008. Hollie Moran, 24, found the 5ft porpoise with chunks taken out of its head and tail at Horsey. She said ”It was brutal. Its jaw must be nine inches – that’s quite a bite! We’ve seen surfers here. It could of been them attacked. I won’t go swimming here again…”
Dr Ken Collins of the National Oceanography Centre said ”It’s undoubtedly a shark bite. It could be a great white. The sea around the UK is habitable for big sharks, like the great white.” When you go to Great Yarmouth next, look out for the shark…
