The Facebook competition, StrayPixels, has come to an end and the contestants have received their badges!
Shutdown! – a player from Habbo.com – has won the StrayPixels competition with his Stone Warrior and has been awarded the prestigious Blue Pixel badge for doing so. All three finalists, including Shutdown!, have received the Green Pixel badge for making it to the voting stage of the competition.
The winning furni design will be available to buy from the catalogue at some point in the future; it has been
speculated that the recent clearance of the LTD Rare section could indicate a prompt release of the
StrayPixels statue – but it’s unclear whether the piece will even be Limited Edition or not.
The reception of the new badge designs have been positive; the last StrayPixels competition featured
numerous badges in a similar cube style, but it seems that people prefer the new ones. One user at HabboxForums said: “The new badges are awesome. Only a couple of the old badges looked good, but these badges are something that can be worn with pride!” – an opinion which seems to be the consensus among the Habbo community.
