A couple of days ago, it was announced that a new security measure would come to Habbo (you can read by clicking here). This was incorporated on to the hotel for a few minutes last week but it was removed shortly afterwards after the announcement was made that it wouldn’t be live yet. To inform players about this the blog was active once again and it was also said that the feature would be put on a probation period during the next week.

 

To activate this option that will leave your character much more safe against scams, you must go to Account Settings, scroll down and find the Safety Lock heading and click the link below it. This will open you up a panel where you can choose two questions and submit your answers to them (this increases safety but you need to remember the answers in case you should need them in the future). Once you are done, click OK and you’ve completed it.

 

Now, if you enters your account from another computer you will be asked to answer two secret questions answers, that not knowing them some features of your character, the most important are locked (trade, change mail, secret questions, and others you can see in the previous news item).
