So, to begin to vary my articles a little, and of course to add some variation to the article output, I decided to do a Role Play review! I’m planning on doing one of these once a month, so you should see some more coming out pretty soon!

Anyway, upon entering the particular room, I met with one of the managers to talk about a few things!

So, yes of course for my first Role Play review I decided to check out the famous Habbo Hospital!

Habbo Hospital: Floor 2 – Emergency Department

There had been some debate about specific things to do with this Role Play on the forums, so I thought why not to add to this and do a review!

Let’s start off with the room and my own opinions.

As you can see to the right, the hospital as a whole is clearly organised. The hospital consists of multiple floors including a pediatric floor. Overall, the feel of the hospital gives a professional vibe. It is spaced out enough for workers get on with their jobs, but also for patients to wait and hang around!

The use of the Hospital themed furni also adds to the medical-vibe that the room gives off, which is essential for, of course, a hospital! Design wise; very good!

I also met with one of the Hospital’s Managers, Odometer (Check out her Habbo Profile here) and decided to ask her a few questions about the role play!
Firstly, I asked her overall opinions of the hospital. She thought that the hospital is a great role play. Personally, I had worked at this hospital before my Habbox days, and I really liked it. However a few blips came up! Although there is some brilliant people to talk to there, I and a few others had noticed that some members and visitors can be quite rude. I questioned Odometer about this and she stated that she would aim to resolve such situations, as it is her job. She also claimed that she is constantly on the look out for inappropriate behaviour along with the rest of the team.

One main question that I thought would be appropriate to ask was something related to a threat that was posted on HabboxForum not too long ago. I asked her of her views on the following statement; “Only people who know of technical medical knowledge are allowed to role play here”. She commented that she respects it is a fully open public role play and that anyone can join no matter of medical knowledge, however it is preferred for more higher, senior ranks. She also said that the management teams would like to increase the amount of medical knowledge in all of their staff members. They emphasised this fact by adding a Medical School. A room in which professional medical staff/trained people can share their experience and training with ordinary members of Habbo to further increase knowledge.

Odometer also mentioned that herself and another hospital manager have forums on the Management Badge, where they record all and any complaints or reports sent to them. It seems they are also trying to keep on top of discipline.
