Those fine folk at Habbo have released a new round of posters based on famous works. Check them out here by hitting “read more”, and find out what’s been pixelised for us Habbos!

First off, four that cost 500 diamonds each. Yup, diamonds. All of these will cost you diamonds, forcing you to actually PAY for things rather than just win them from our competitions and events 😛

Marketplace Man is based on The Son of Man by Rene Magritte
Flowers In Your Inventory is based on Sunflowers by Vincent van Gogh
Lido Nostalgia is based on A Bigger Splash by David Hockney
Misplaced Duck is based on Girl in the Red Beret by Joseph Abraham (actually a relatively unknown but rather good artist, nice one Habbo!)

Next up, the price doubles to a cheeky 1000 diamonds. You’d need an Australian mining company to get that many diamonds in real life.

Self-Portrait of Frank is based on Self-portrait without beard by Vincent van Gogh
The Persistence of Furni is based on The Persistence of Memory by Salvador Dali
The Duck Woman is based on Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I by Gustav Klimt
Frank’s Mother is based on Whistler’s Mother by James Whistler

For the next two, the price reaches an astronomical 2500 diamonds! Shiny. That’s absolutely nothing however next to the final painting, at a whopping FIVE THOUSAND DIAMONDS. Crikey mate that’s some bling right there.

The Empty Inventory is based on The Scream by Edvard Munch
Frank’s Love is based on The Lovers by Rene Magritte
Lunch atop the Hotel is based on Lunch atop a Skyscraper by Charles Ebbets

Some of these are mega money (and real money at that because, yeah, diamonds…) but could be big earners in the future potentially. Which if any do you like? And will you buy any? Let us know!
