HARD X MAZE! – Owned by Mitsuji

Usually, I avoid rooms which describe themselves as ‘HARD’ like the plague. However, I’d been recommended this one to play multiple times before I finally caved! I’m glad I did.

This maze is different to any of the others I’ve reviewed before, as it’s all in one room! There are different sections though, which makes it a bit more interesting. There’s typical sections, moving mats and a snake part, but there’s also a teleporter section, which I’ve never seen before. The 3 sections only take about 10 minutes (maximum) to complete, so it’s great if you fancy a maze but don’t have much time.

The design of the room overall is very busy, it has lots of different themes and sections. The design of the VIP (winners) section is really nicely themed (garden), but there are bits of mismatched furni which don’t really seem to belong. The rest of the room is sort of slung together, but it forms a sort of pretty chaos.

Another pro point for the room is that, although it has similar sections to other Wired mazes, it’s much more fast paced. There are not many mats to walk on in the first section, and they move really fast, plus the snake maze has obstacles to avoid, making good timing an absolute necessity. Probably not one to play if you’ve got lag!
