A robotic return?0
Bots are something that have always been used by Sulake for official Habbo rooms, and many people felt that it was unlikely they would be released to the general Habbo public. These doubts, however, were proven misplaced as a simple version of a ‘bot’ was released earlier this year. This made Habbos wonder what the bot series would turn out to be, and what other bot’s functions would be. Unfortunately, since that time, Sulake removed the one bot they had released from sale, and we have not heard anything about bots since.
Although there has been no official announcement since their abolishment, a campaign image was recently found that seems to illustrate a new form of bots. It is the finding of this image and the fact that the bots tab has not been removed from the inventory that has led us to believe that bots will be returning, and as this image is a recent one, it is likely that they will be returning in the near future. This only leads us to ask what the Habbo builders will see fit to do with these bots.
Personally I think that new bots would be a fantastic idea, and that they would really make users who had previously left because of the mute want to come back to Habbo. Bots would be the newest major revelation since the release of WIRED, and due to the great success of the WIRED furni range, I think that bots would be very welcome in the Habbo community.
