With 2 new ‘Room Hoppers’ being introduced, we’re sure that you’ll go hopping mad!
The Room Hoppers (pieces of furniture which are connected to all the others in the hotel) have become increasingly popular throughout the Habbo with many more users purchasing and using them regularly – I see endless amounts of people enter rooms through Room Hoppers and it makes me so glad that a wonderful piece of furniture was invented which has enabled users to discover friends a lot easier! The original Room Hopper looked like something you would see on ‘Take me out’ – funky and futuristic… but, guess what? Sulake have introduced another 2 Room Hoppers into the hotel!
The first new ‘Hopper’ looks similar to an item you would find in a forest, or potentially a house near the one (maybe a tree-house) – or maybe something you would find in Aladdin’s Cave (a hint of mystery.) The second ‘Hopper’ looks incredibly sci-fi and like something you would find out of Star Trek (don’t worry, the Hopper hasn’t been invaded by aliens.)
Although the Room Hoppers seem to be a lovely introduction to the hotel, there are many people who claim they are simply irritating. These claims have risen because if a person tries to enter a full room via the Room Hopper, they automatically get sent to hotel view and have to find a room with a Room Hopper again to continue ‘hopping’. Also, if a person has used wired inside their room to teleport a user to a specific place or if the Hopper is stacked up high, the user who has ‘hopped’ cannot get back into the Hopper to continue hopping throughout rooms. Yes, it’s a good attempt to raise popularity inside a person’s room, but it’s a great annoyance to ‘hoppers’.
I have yet to meet ‘the one’ through a room hopper (although I have managed to find a very nice man who I had a lovely discussion with – unfortunately, I didn’t add him and now I’m on a gigantic quest to find him again ) but I’m sure I will find them soon!
On a final note – don’t you think that “Hopper” is making us sound like bunny rabbits?
