Breeding Boxes0

Habbo have just released an amazing, new, petastic feature that enables your pets become parents.

There were rumours about this a few months ago, now it’s here for real. To breed your pets is to buy a Breeding Box from the catalogue for 15c (probably not what you expected breeding to be like); the box is currently only available for 2 kinds of pets- Terriers and Polar Bears. At the moment, the idea appears unique due to not being able to breed all types of pets.

In the future Habbo will probably be updating the breeding project further, possibly giving us more choice of what pets to breed, being able to enable their gender, and choose their type/ colour. Why Habbo hasn’t thought of these before is a puzzle to me, maybe these were a test to see how the breeding project would develop.

There might be tention going round from older Habbo players and possibly parents wondering why would Habbo add such a thing. Due to the game being a virtual world they may believe that the option of breeding is taking it too far. However, they could also be trying to broaden their audience to a younger one with zoo games on the market, the desire for pets in real life and the festive period could contribute to why it’s been added.

So what are your thoughts or concerns about this new feature on Habbo? Leave your comments in the comment section.
