Unfortunately codes have been found that imply that pixels will be removed on Monday 18th June.

Up till now pixels have been a secondary currency to the old credit/coin currency and it provided an easier way to purchase furni and effects. It could be earned from logging on, being VIP, earning achievements and being online. The most popular use of pixels was for effects which allowed people to express themselves or have a laugh traveling on UFOs, Hover Boards and Skateboards. Furthermore it could be used for new Habbos starting out without credits to make a first room. As well as this the pixel pet accessories (now found in the Pet Accessories Section) provided a way to feed pets for a different price. 

According to an email from Habbo, pixels are being removed as they first intended for it to be an expiring currency but this never happened so an imbalance of credits occured where some had thousands and others had only a few. This created a dilemna that they could not create new furni to cater the needs of Habbos with lots of pixels and few pixels.
