This season there are many teams in the English Championship League that have a chance of promotion. In this article I will highlight some of the teams that I believe have a shot at some Premier League action! Continue reading to see my opinions on both the teams that could reach promotion and those that may not!

Huddersfield – Huddersfield have had a very good start to the new season, picking up 13 points in 5 games. This gives them a nice confidence boost so early on in the season. They may not be the favourites, but with some hard work I think that they will be right up there towards the top of the table come the end of the season.

Fullham – I personally really like Fullham and always have done. I’d love to see them back up in the premier league, and they seem to have had a nice start to the new season as well! 11 points from 5 games! They are currently 2nd, and they have a very good chance. Fullham have a very good side this year and seem to get lots of late winners which is always good.

Newcastle – Now, Newcastle should NOT be in the championship. They have such a strong side! I don’t know how they managed relegation. They have picked up 9 points in 5 games, which may not be great but I think as the season progresses they will soon pick up a healthy amount.

Now, these are some teams that should go up but I think may prove odds wrong.‍

Aston Villa – A lot of people thought Villa would breeze through championship football but to be honest, I don’t think they will.

Norwich – They have good experience of premier league football, but seem to find it hard to gain promotion.

QPR – Again, Rangers have good premier league experience but I don’t think they have a chance this season.
