Childhood TV Shows That We All LOVED!1
By - Posted 20th February, 2018 at 9:54 pm Entertainment

Do you remember the days where you sat in front of the TV watching your favourite childhood shows? Well this will be a nice blast from the past for the nineties and the naughties kids! If watching TV was your thing as a kid, then you’ll probably remember some of these shows! Why not hit that “read more” button now? 😉

As children, we all loved watching TV before and after school! It wasn’t like the TV we have now which is mainly just boring junk; there were iconic shows that every kid would talk about. Of course, these days we don’t really hear much from our friends about TV shows from today. We’re mostly on our laptops or our smartphones. But why not give a bit of time to appreciate the shows that made up our childhood? All of you young adults and teens will appreciate this list!

Childhood TV Shows That We All LOVED!

Rugrats

OMG! Who didn’t watch this show as a kid? If you didn’t, then you really missed out! Rugrats was a show about young toddlers going through everyday adventures! There was the loveable Tommy, the nerdy goodie-two-shoes Chucky, the cute twins Phil and Lil and the selfish and manipulative Angelica! I used to watch this even just a few years ago, at about 13 years old! Crazy, right? I just love Rugrats though, and I’d probably happily watch it right now.

iCarly

iCarly was a big hit for Nickelodeon that started in 2007. I really loved this show as a child and watched it pretty much everyday! Carly, Sam and Freddie create their own live show called iCarly which becomes extremely popular! Carly’s brother Spencer does his best to look after Carly and, often, they all tend to get into bad situations in their everyday lives. But that doesn’t stop them from continuing to be successful with iCarly! This is a show I really miss and I was sad to see it end.

Drake and Josh

Another Nickelodeon success was Drake and Josh, which also had Miranda Cosgrove, who played Carly in iCarly! Two stepbrothers live together in the same house, but have completely different personalities. They often have arguments and predicaments, but in the end they’re always closer than ever before! There were some really funny moments in this show such as Drake saying “exasperation” instead of “exaggeration”, Drake and Josh’s Soul Man duet and the time when Josh gets a snake stuck in his trousers! I really loved this show and I’m sure you most of us kids did!

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air

There is no way 90s kids won’t have seen this show! Starring Will Smith as Will, a young adult who moves to Bel Air from West Philadelphia due to a mishap on a basketball court! He moves into the Banks’ family home and he often gets into silly situations. There was this one unforgettable recurring gag that would always seem to happen! If Will’s friend Jazz was seen in that gold-striped shirt, there was a massive chance he was getting quite literally thrown out of the house! There’s also that iconic theme tune that everyone loved to join in with! I didn’t see this show until a few years ago, which is a shame, and I wished I had watched it when I was younger. I have noticed there are a lot of funny innuendos!

Phineas and Ferb

Who’s seen that show where two kids create lots of impressive things? I have! Phineas and Ferb would often create massive impressive inventions and their sister Candace would often try to bust them but to no avail! There’s also the hilarious Dr Doofenshmirtz who’d plan to “take on the whole TRI-STATE AREA” (sorry, I just had to do that!) and his plans would be foiled by Agent P a.k.a Perry the Platypus! One scene I loved from this series was when Dr Doofenshmirtz sang “Back in Gimelshtump”

The Suite Life of Zack and Cody

This was an amazing show where two identical twins called Zack and Cody would often have crazy adventures in the Tipton Hotel! Really, I should say that the twins would get in trouble often and would find ways to get out of their sticky situations. Their single mother, Carey, was the lounge singer. There was also the vain London Tipton, Maddie the candy-counter girl and the hotel manager Mr Moseby. I used to really love this show and I watched it a lot!
