The actor is set to reprise his role as Leo Elster. Morgan left the show after his character ended up braindead when last seen on screen. The show itself is said to be picked up for another season by the Channel 4 network.
Morgan’s character Leo is set to currently be the only remaining human-synth hybrid, who has been seen to care more for synths than for humans. His character is the son of David Elster (played by Stephen Boxer) and Beatrice Elster (played by Ruth Bradley), both of whom are now deceased.
The show Humans is about a parallel present where the latest must-have gadget for any busy family is a ‘Synth’ – a highly-developed robotic servant that’s so similar to a real human it’s transforming the way we live. The main cast for the show are Gemma Chan (well known for starring as Madam Ya Zhou in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them ), Katherine Parkinson (well known for playing Marion Whittaker in the 2008 movie Easy Virtue), Theo Stevenson (who played Craig in the TV series Millie InBetween), and Emily Berrington (who also starred alongside Colin in the TV show Merlin ).
As for newcomers it has been recently revealed that Mark Bonnar will join the cast in the role of Neil Sommer. Neil is set to be a charming man, part of a government commission with whom Laura (Parkinson) develops a strong connection.
Any other details surrounding Morgan’s return have not been released and specifics are being kept under wraps.
Humans is set to return around May this year.
I love this show, so glad it’s been renewed and is coming back soon!
