5 months ago, a dark cloud was present over Habbo, the trading and advertising on all hotels went downhill and gradually, with the return of some features it began to part. The cloud will soon be gone though with the return of one of the most important parts of Habbo… Events!

In June Events were disabled and later the ‘Create Event‘ button was removed, giving Habbos chance to push for the advertising they needed to get their room popular and in some cases they used clones and tags just to move up a bit. I stopped playing Habbo as much due to the removal of Events and now I’ll probably play a lot more, I’ll be able to trade in proper shops yippee! Oh, and so will you.

New codes have been released via an e-mail that Laura (Assistant News Manager at Habbox) received earlier today, there’s different ones from before but regardless they are returning! Unfortunately the codes below look like we’ll have to buy Events for our rooms and with the release of Habboween furni whereby you need to buy Credits just to get the items you’d think Sulake had received enough money already! It’s unknown how much the Events will cost and how long it’ll actually be before they’re put back on our Client but hopefully it’s soon; I wouldn’t mind paying for them if they’re like MarketPlace Ads used to be (5 Ads for 1 Credit for non-VIP, 10 for VIP), this feature was also removed but if they can be changed more than once and last a long time I’ll be happy.

I’m unsure why ‘Eurovision Semi Final 2‘ badges have been added when Eurovision was earlier this year but with other ‘badge‘ codes it looks like achievements will be present on Habbo once again. Maybe you need to buy a lot of Events, yet again making money for Sulake!

Although there’s the downside of paying for the Events, it looks more complex and moderated with the filter of forbidden words and such. What do you think though?
