A new piece of Wired furniture has been revealed, but what does it do, and what applications may it have, providing it is even released?

This item of Wired has been discovered by certain people upon entry to the Welcome Lounge, and this is suspected to be the item that has been giving everyone who enters the badge with a torch. Two important things to consider will be explored through this article about this piece of Wired.

Firstly, will this item be released to the public, or is it merely going to hide away where it cannot be seen in staff rooms for only staff to use? This is quite a good question to consider, as would we have the need to give badges to others entering our room, when we cannot even create badges to give out in the first place, but then again possibly this could be hinting to the release of player made badges? The applications of this badge currently are what is in question when considering whether this item would be released to public, bringing us onto the second important point.

The other major point to consider is what could this actually do if it was released to the public. As of the current circumstances, we already have a give points piece in the Wired set, so it is unlikely that it shall follow suit with the same effect. Therefore, perhaps another item may be coming out that can be linked to this, so that it can give presentable rewards on this item, such as a screen presenting these rewards? Again, perhaps the ability to create badges may come out so that we can award people with them, but this would likely clog up the badge inventories, so this is also questionable.
