8 Reasons NOT to miss the next HxSS

Wow! where do I even start! For those of you that are new to Habbo or have been living under a rock during August, here at Habbox we have been investing all our free time in our yearly event the Habbox Summer Spectacular.

This year gave me the pleasure of having my first crack at HxSS while also being a staff member, and wow let me tell you it didn’t disappoint! I was a proud member of the red team, shout out to FlyingJesus for being a great team admin! For those of you that didn’t attend this year, here are my top 8 reasons you should take part next year..

1. You’ll meet so many new friends. HxSS is a great opportunity to meet new friends from all different time zones. I really enjoyed meeting more of the staff members that i don’t usually encounter because they aren’t on the articles team, along with all the Habbox supporters.

2. The feels! It’s so exciting to win points for your team. I received my first radio shout out, this was a memorable moment because everyone in the room cheered! I even managed to win an event, which is good for me considering I have no luck at games!

3. Discover something new. I discovered so many great games that I hadn’t seen on Habbo before, luckily for me I discovered that I am a boss at  danger pod!

4. Competitions. Although the majority of events and competitions were on Habbo, there were also a great deal on the radio and habboxforum.com – such as puzzles, riddles and scavenger hunts. There’s something for everyone.

5. Prizes. Habbox gave out around 10,000 credits. It’s not just individual event winners that get prizes, but also the top scorers overall AND a daily top scorer received 100c each day. There were so many ways to win credits, and also rares that were occasionally given out during radio competitions. SO MANY PRIZES!

6. A sneak peek into the Habbox life. It’s a great way to meet Habbox staff and get a feel for the community. Everyone is welcome!

7. Non-stop entertainment. If you are worried that it might be a bit time crushing for you, don’t panic! During HxSS you can enter as many competitions and games as you want when you want. The events were running 24/7 so you could jump right back in when you fancied it.

8. The HxSS Awards. Shortly after the last event, all the points are added together and prizes are given out during a big party. It’s not just the top scorers, awards also go to the best dressed, funniest and so much more. Check out all the winners here.

For those of you that didn’t attend this year, make sure to try it out next year! I can’t wait for next year already!
