Over the past few weeks, the marketplace has been boosted A LOT

Habbos have been suspecting someone being a noob and boosting prices to spoil the marketplace experience for other players, but today we found out that is not the case.

Today, people have been selling items on the marketplace for up to 25,000 coins! Things as simple as Grass Patches & Ducket Items all the way up to Thrones.

(We do not have the full story so bare with us as we update this thread)

Approx. 12am GMT 06/01/17

People begin to place items on the marketplace for extraordinary numbers, then being bought within 2 minutes.

Approx. 1pm GMT 06/01/17

Players begin to talk about it, word gets around.

Approx. 3pm GMT 06/01/17

More and more players begin to list their items, some being bought but some crossing their fingers hoping that they are bought.

Approx. 5pm GMT 06/01/17

Habbo catches onto it, looks into the illegal Habbo Black Market sites.

Approx. 8pm GMT 06/01/17

Players list thrones, pillows etc. all being bought for anywhere up to 25,000 coins.

Approx 8:15pm GMT 06/01/17

Marketplace is disabled for all players to prevent any more items being sold for that number of coins.

Players who listed items begin to get temporarily trade locked.

Whole hotel gets tradelocked.
