In the past, Habbo have taken us on a time travelling journey with monthly campaigns such as the Victorian Christmas, Footsteps of the Ancients and Ancient Greek campaigns – and it seems like next month is no different!

This May it seems as though Habbo is taking us back to the 1800s – to the Victorian era! Are you ready to hop on a Penny Farthing in your snazzy detective cap and take a trip through history?

New rares

Seemingly following some sort of pattern that has been established with rare releases – two of next month’s rares are clothing items, while the other two are furniture items.

First off, in terms of new wearable rares, we have a dashing new OUTFIT – the Consulting Detective Outfit. Truly an ensemble Mr Holmes himself would be proud of, with the iconic hat to match.

We also have brand a new hairstyle – the Spidery Waves. Another short hairstyle, modelled here in bright red – very accurate with the Victorian theme. I think this hairstyle looks GREAT on the mannequin, but I am slightly sceptic as to how it will look once you bind it.

A brand-new rare furniture item we’re getting next month is the Cabinet of Curiosities – this is the second furniture item that Habbo are releasing with this name. The first Cabinet of Curiosities being released as an exclusive to the Haunted Lobby Bundle that was released for the 2016 Habboween campaign. However, there are little to no similarities between the two items, this new rare is bigger in size, containing more CURIOUS items.

The final rare we have to look forward to is the Silverback Gorilla. I personally love collecting all animal related furni so this rare is a big win for me, but it does confuse me as to how it fits in with the Victorian theme. Hmmm….

BRAND NEW Credit Furni!

This is a bit of good news for all the rich little Habbos out there, there will be a brand new item of credit furni released – the Gold Dragon! It will be available to purchase for 750 Credits, so get saving those pennies!

Clothing

Only one clothing item has been found on the secret Sulake server for this campaign, and it is somewhat confusing. As lovely as this Edwardian Blouse is. It’s.. Edwardian, not Victorian. For those of you who may not be up to date on your British history, the Edwardian era began in 1901 following the death of Queen Victoria and thus end of the Victorian era. Perhaps this item will be released toward the end of the month to signify the end of the Victorian era on Habbo?

BRAND NEW Room Bundles

Along with the re-release of a few classic bundles, a brand new bundle is on its way – the Victorian Crime Scene Bundle! We don’t know exactly what will be included in this bundle just yet – but I’m sure it’ll include some of the detective-themed furniture that’s featured in this campaign.

Furniture

And finally we have lots of lovely new furniture items to look forward to! Note the poster that references the man, the myth and the legend that is Sherlock Holmes – as well as a new “221H Teleporter”. These two items along with the rare detective outfit – would it be fair to assume Sherlock plays a role in the campaign? Or just a nod to an iconic piece of Victorian literature?
