Lady GaGa has become the very first Twitter user to reach 20 million+ fans!

That’s right folks, Lady GaGa has dominated Twitter feeds everywhere this week after she became the first (and only) Twitter user to reach over 20 million followers! She beat other famous Twitter users such as Justin Bieber (currently on 18 million+ followers) and Katy Perry (currently on 15.7 million+ followers) to the record. This record adds to her very impressive 800,000+ “circles” on Google+ and 48 million+ fans on Facebook, thus meaning she has over 68 million followers online!

Unlike many celebrities (such as Britney Spears), Lady GaGa takes the time out to post information onto her feed and not simply have it controlled by a publicity management team. Stewart Townsend from Twitter marketing and analysis firm Datasift thought that Lady GaGa was setting an example and then went on to say:

“She’s active, she participates, she listens and she engages. A lot of brands or agencies are just in listening mode and don’t react.”

Also, the excitement doesn’t stop there for Lady GaGa fans, as she will be opening a new social network dedicated to her “little monsters” very soon! The site is called www.littlemonsters.com and people wishing to receive an “invitation” to the site can do so by entering their name and e-mail address. The site is expected to look similar to “Pinterest” when it becomes officially open soon.

Finally, if that wasn’t enough of Lady GaGa for you, here’s some more! The social gaming giant “Zynga‘ will be teaming up with Lady GaGa to create an edited version of the famous game “Farmville” which will be titled “GaGaville“. I expect that will either turn out to be a rather interesting game or an absolute disaster!
