Snow has hit the UK and left us in a Winter Wonderland.

Many people are and have been enjoying the snow over the weekend in many parts of the UK. Many Schools have been shut and have now re-opened. Many more Schools are expected to close over the week as more snow has been forcasted over the UK. With all the snow around, children will be sledging and making snowmen.   

One school has had an incident over the snow. The headteacher was arrested by police as they refused to close the School because of the snow.
 UK get snow about once every 2 years. Surely Teachers would have some kind spirit and want to let Children enjoy the SNOW. Well it seems not.

SNOW dosen’t always mean FUN. There have been many reports of serious injuries and deaths during the week. Most of these are caused by Vehicles, but it’s not nessesary the DRIVERS fault. Snow always ends up turning into ice which is a serious problem. Ice causes cars to slip and loose control on the road. There have been 3 recorded deaths of Children in the WEST MIDLANDS caused by Car accidents. Ovbiously this dosen’t mean you shouldn’t have FUN in the SNOW but it means you should probabl avoid roads.

Now I don’t want to take all the FUN out of the snow, but be aware but please do have FUN.
