A runaway dog, an owner and Twitter. What on earth are you talking about I hear you ask. All shall be revealed below.

Alright, picture this. A canine one day went missing from his home, his owner was obviously quite upset. After all, her beloved Jack Russell Terrier (who goes by the name of Patch) had seemingly vanished without a trace. Where was Patch when his owner was so distraught? Well, he wandered down to his local train station and thought hopping on an early morning train heading to Dublin would be a great idea.

When staff on the train found him they tweeted a picture of him with a caption Lost Dog. As you know a little bit of news spreads like wildfire and well after being tweeted by hundreds of people. You can guess what happened next right? If you can’t here is what happened. It took just 30 minutes for the tweet to find it’s way to one woman. Can you guess who?
Yes, thats right – Patch’s owner. She replied with that’s my dog! The owner said “I was in shock when I heard he was found on a train. I rushed down to pick him up and we got the train home too”.

It seems that Patch is quite the explorer. Where will it be next, a bus?

If you have a story about adventurous animals, let me know. Go on, comment below. In fact, I dare you to comment!
