New Games Coming Soon!0
“Many more games will come soon to Habbo Hotel,” says the manager of Habbo’s marketing and design team.
The Sulake employee, known as @Habbo_Ricardo on Twitter, has given us something to look forward to: new additions to the recently upgraded Games Menu will be with us shortly. The announcement arrives amongst the backdrop of a global mute and a moderation scandal that has tarnished the company’s child-friendly image – proving that it’s all fun and games, even after somebody gets hurt.
Fast Food, the latest addition to the Games Menu, has gone down a treat with players, while Snow Storm does better than usual – partly due to the brand new leaderboard achievements, but mostly down to the mute that leaves Habbos with nothing much else to do.
The Games Menu is expected to expand as the months go on, with new games that incorporate a reward system based on leaderboard scores; this offers a real incentive for people to play the games, hopefully making long waiting times a thing of the past. We may even see a return of old games – could Battle Ball make a comeback?
