New Habbo App Available in Apple Store!0
By - Posted 4th July, 2015 at 9:20 pm

Earlier today an exciting new Habbo Hotel app was made available in the official Finnish Apple store.

The app is called the ‘Lost Monkey by Habbo’ and is basically an adventure game where you guide your monkey through a series of levels. Upon completion you will receive your very own pet monkey on Habbo.fi. The app is completely free to download, and can be completed without having to purchase anything, meaning that if you’re lucky enough to live Finland and own an iPod or iPhone, you can get yourself a monkey for free! However if you’re impatient and want your monkey as soon as, there’s also the option to buy Coconut packs, the currency used within the game. With these packs you can buy items that will help you to complete the game faster, or if you’re just generally a fan of the game, you can decorate your island.

The description on the Finnish Apple Store describes the app as having an ‘exciting storyline that will capture your heart and blow your mind’. Unfortunately some users haven’t yet experienced this mind blowing app, after complaining that the game shuts down whilst they are attempting to name their monkey. So far it’s had 9 ratings and an overall score of 3 stars out of 5. It does seem to have been a hit with some users, possibly those who were actually able to progress onto the game playing, with the top add-on purchase being the 100 coconuts package, priced at 2.39 €.

Looking at some images of the gameplay, the graphics and furniture look very similar to that used on Habbo Hotel, could this mark the beginning of Habbo eventually becoming available on iPods and iPhones? We’ll just have to wait and see, but I’m sure there are many hoping the app will soon become available in worldwide Apple stores, after all, who wouldn’t want a free monkey?

What are your thoughts on the new app? And have you been lucky enough to try it and get past the ‘naming of your monkey’ stage? If you’re interested and want to read the user reviews for yourself, bear in mind you’ll probably have to translate, click here to view the official page on the Finnish Apple Store!
