Today Habbo followed through with their plan to remove the Pixels system on the 18th June by releasing a new pixel furni range. There is little innovation with the new furni as the majority of it is a orange recolour of the original pixel furniture. This furniture consists of a sofa, sofa chair, small and large table, lamp and a chair. These all range in prices from 50 pixels to 500 pixels although they can be bought with deals.
One of the new pieces was a Pixel Memorial. As you can see in the image, it is a very nice piece of furniture and for 20 credits and 15,000 pixels, it wasn’t a bad offer. However this item was mysteriously removed soon after it was released meaning that only a select few managed to buy one. This meant that the price of these have rocketed to a value of 120c-140c. This has now been re-released at the same price and the value has dropped significantly to 30c.
The last piece of new furni is the Exotic Butterfly. To put it simply, it is a butterfly perched upon a rock. It is styled so that it would fit well with the Tiki furni range and again for 10 credits and 5,000 pixels, it is quite good. The problem that arises is that so many people have thousands of pixels and the majority feel that this is the only decent furni to buy (following the removal of the Pixel Memorial), so I predict the value of this to soon decrease. Looking at the marketplace values since the release, it has been decreasing in value slowly as more and more people buy it.
Overall I feel the new range has been a let down with currently only 1 decent furni. Although there are other things to purchase such as pet food, effects and rentals.
Anyway what do you think of the new furni? Post your comments here!
