I had decided that I would find a poem for you all to read and I found this one that really touched my heart in many ways.

HELLO, HUMAN! 01

That, that was only a daft, funny play from Robot and Human

And fly it did and huge it grew and high it went

And then I caught my soul more or less like this

Purely, completely his!

Saw my strength tied to his steps, dare I say

Saw that, without him, ain’t no clear way, can’t he stay?

Saw the biggest love scream inside the head

as it happened

in a dream I once had

When my private world was shiny

like a sword and some of the crowd

would always come to us and agree –

A very strange switch; the spirit, freer

And the purity, watching the pier

and the peace, spinning the blender

All the way I would always share slices of me

When the songs played always clearer and hi-fi

And when the poetry really made folly in my life

Opened the gates, came to the side

And unveiled, smiling, an unexpected and rubbish passion for an unknown someone

But ain’t no madness, no

You two are rather kind

Missingness has its pros

Helps to fill the mind

Mr Hope is a gift

That I save me, I try to hold
I really do

Ain’t no despair, oh honey

Can we still be friends?

You taught me amity

Got some dreams in the hands

Who knows how it ends?

Certainly, happy, I’ll be

Certainly, I am – bound to be!
