Diving off the high board, being welcomed, going to crazy nightclubs; I’m not talking about your crazy sixteenth birthday, no–I’m talking about the return of public rooms.
Today, on his Twitter feed, Paul Lafontaine announced, “Public rooms are on the return BTW. We heard that loud and clear.” Doesn’t it seem like Habbo are finally recognizing what we have to say? First, they are bringing back the camera, and now they are bringing back the one thing sacred to most pre-mergies? Unbelievable!
But it’s entirely true. In the very beginning of Habbo, public rooms were announced, giving Habbos the freedom to meet up with their friends and a mass amount of other Habbos. The base of these rooms was for teenagers to meet and converse with other teenagers to make friends online. Unfortunately, after about 2008, Public Rooms were removed from the navigator and hidden away in the very far back cupboard with the mice and rats.
But, after so long, could it be true that these rooms are returning?! The truth is, they never actually left, due to some wise Habbos finding links to a few of the rooms. Never the less, could they really be coming back to be visible within the navigator?!?!? Yes! The only question: will Habbo be modifying them? Horrors! It seems Habbo needs to make improvements to further developments before release; I’m sure it won’t be that much of an update considering how fashionable the rooms already are!
No further announcements have been made on the subject, but it is no doubt that these flashy rooms will indeed be returning!
