“Let’s meet at the Dirty Duck Pub!” – A phrase that once was common amongst Habbo’s before the merge may soon be re-emerging.
Public rooms were evident from the very early days of Habbo Hotel, ranging from the Lido to the hard core night clubs. Many a night was spent in them chatting with friends and they were always a fantastic area to meet new people. Sadly however, with the merge came the demise of the public rooms. Slowly but surely they were removed one by one, leaving the majority of Habbo’s who were used to them with a piece of their hotel missing.
Thankfully however, it appears that Sulake is finally listening to users comments and is in the process of bringing some of the rooms back! Already a preview can be seen of the new Theatredrome by searching The.4th.Habbo in the navigator. It’s clearly a fresh rethought design that still captures what was once grand about the original Theatredrome. This however, isn’t the finalised public room and instead is merely a preview of what it will look like when it is rolled out across the hotels.
Over on the Habbo Blog, they also let slip that it wouldn’t be the last public room to be bought back and that they’d have a special feature next week discussing the new public rooms and guess what, they’ve just released the article to us!
Anyone For A Picnic?
