There’s a toy taking the world by storm. The crazy thing about it is that it’s something so simple! It’s very addictive though; many teenagers have been bringing these into schools. Some of the schools have even banned them as they can be a distraction to students who should be working! Can you guess what toy I’m talking about? I’ll reveal the answer now!

The Fidget Spinner

The Fidget Spinner is a stress-relieving toy that was actually released in the 1990’s and has only became popular this year! The fidget spinner’s most common design is the three-pronged spinner with a bearing in its centre circular pad.  It’s said to be useful for people with ADHD, autism, and anxiety as it calms down the person using the toy! This is just one of those crazes that you don’t know why it’s become a craze…it just has.

What does this toy do?

It spins! That’s all it really does. I’m not joking either, it just spins!

What can you do with the Fidget Spinner?

You can spin it and you can do tricks with it such as balancing it on one thumb! There is a cool trick you can do with it; get a pen and put it in one of the toy’s holes. Spin the fidget spinner and the pen will stay upright! There’s quite a few videos of tricks for this toy on the internet.
