The latest Apple keynote was aired just yesterday, and boy did they have some great surprises in store for their users. We have seen a few updates in their latest event regarding the iPhone SE, a brand new iPad and some changes to the iWatch.
This was an event that no-one wanted to miss, and if you did miss it then don’t worry because I have the full gossip about what Apple has got planned for its users and also what’s about to hit the market very soon!
Apple are always committed to innovation and making sure that the users are always getting great new products. Before the Keynote officially began, we were shown a 20 second video detailing how Apple’s past 40 years have been a great success, and the great things they have brought to the market for their users. That’s right, Apple INC will be 40 years old on April 1st 2016! Firstly, they showed us a new innovation that they have come up with- a robot named Liam! Liam, otherwise known as this amazing smart robot takes apart old iPhones and separates them into individual sections so that they can be melted down, and re-used. This is part of the scheme where Apple said it wanted to get 100% environmental friendly, and by gosh they have already done this by a shocking 97%, not far to go now!
However, onto the big news… Apple today announced a brand new iPhone, this called the iPhone SE. As we’ve already established this iPhone has the same running capabilities as well as specifications as the iPhone 6S. However, it just measures at 4 inches in width and this phone starts on the market at $299, otherwise in GBP around £210. This was not the only thing that they announced… they also announced a brand new iPad at their event too. Apparently this does not have a new fancy name, it’s just called iPad Pro. This new iPad however only measures in at 9.7 inches! Apparently this iPad also has all the same specifications and processors as the 12.9 model.
They also announced that the launch of iOS 9.3 is available to the general public today, this means that users will be able to enjoy features like “Night Shift”… a feature where the screen automatically turns warmer to decrease the amount of blue light emitted from your device, meaning that you will be able to get a better nights sleep? Let me know how you get on with this one, because i’ve now been trying it for some time on the Public Beta version, and I’ve still not been able to sleep! Password protected notes are also another edition to be added to iOS 9.3 that was released today!
And last but not least… iWatch! Apple introduced some new styles to the iWatch family yesterday, and also took around £90 off it’s price as well! You can now pick up a Sport model of the iWatch for around $299 and once again this is around £210 in GBP. Not a bad price, however they did not really go into any updates for the iWatch at this Keynote. If you’ve been hesitant to purchase one of these iWatch’s, now could be the time as they have reduced the price!
And that’s all your Apple gossip until September time! What do you think about the new products? Are you going to be purchasing any? Let us know in the comments below, and please feel free to start your own debate over on HabboxForum!
