Lovato mentioned in another post that her legs appeared smoother in the video than in real life, stating “The boomerang smoothed out my legs“. She continued to address the topic saying, “The point is, I have cellulite just like the other 93% of women do. What you see on Instagram isn’t always what it seems to be. Let’s embrace our real selves. #iloveme“.
The Camp Rock actress recently appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show where she discussed the changes to her health and lifestyle after recovering from an eating disorder. She spoke to Ellen saying, “I do [feel] confident. I’ve been working on myself for the past year, more so than I’ve ever worked on myself.” She then continued on saying, “I’ve really surrendered to the process of just learning to love yourself and I feel like it shows in my pictures,” she added. “I want to show my fans it’s possible that they can get to that self-love, too“.
As for the biggest change, the 25 year old claims that dieting is no longer the way ahead for her, that she is doing things differently and encourages others to be positive and natural. Demi said she is “no longer depriving [herself] of treats in moderation“, continuing on to say “and I’m not gonna lie, I put on a couple lbs since I’ve given up dieting BUT I’ve given up the chronic stress of what I eat because I don’t want to set that example for my fans. No more food shaming myself!“
As for other things that singer has been up to, she had her latest album called Tell Me You Love Me released late last year. Refreshing her acting career, she just completed starring as the voice of Lenore/Lenny in the family animated comedy Charming, set to be released some time this year.
Most of the response on social media has been very positive and encouraging, some are even thanking her for doing this. Very inspiring!
