Obama warns of nuclear terrorist attack!3
By - Posted 2nd April, 2016 at 9:31 pm The Real World

President Obama has announced today that the threat of a nuclear terrorist attack is very real. They have announced that the group so called IS (Islamic State) is “one of the greatest threats” to global security.

Apparently this is very real, and countries all cross the world are stepping up to try and target these attacks before it changes the world… for good! President Obama has stated “The threat from terrorists trying to launch a nuclear attack that would “change our world” is real.

It’s official, President Obama has announced that this sort of attack is real, and would change our world for good. It is thought that the IS (Islamic State) group are currently trying to get hold of a nuclear weapon to bring stronger attacks. They have already caused issues in Paris, Brussels and other parts of the world to date. A summit has taken place today where over 50 nations were represented. World leaders convening in Washington for the summit expressed concern about North Korea’s nuclear weapons programme and Russia’s lack of attendance. Mr Obama has been expressing real concern over Russia and what they are currently doing. It is thought that Russia has been building up it’s military at the expense of Nuclear weapons.

Is it thought that Russian President Vladimir Putin, refused to attend the summit this morning, and it has also been confirmed that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif of Pakistan cancelled his trip after the deadly bombing in Lahore. The summit was held in Washington, US this morning. Mr Obama said during the summit, “the world cannot be “complacent” and must build on its progress in slowing the stockpiling of nuclear weapons.” He has also been stating other things during the summit as well, announcing to all the states what he really needed to say, and he did not fail to get the message across. He stated during this mornings summit in Washington, US. “There is no doubt that if these mad men ever got their hands on a nuclear bomb or nuclear material, they would certainly use it to kill as many people as possible.” He also stated “The single most effective defence against nuclear terrorism is fully securing this material so it doesn’t fall into the wrong hands in the first place”.

Apparently after the official summit, Mr Obma was asked about the comments made by Mr. Donald Trump. The Republican front-runner had floated the idea that Japan and South Korea should have nuclear weapons, a dramatic departure from decades of US foreign policy. “The person who made the statement doesn’t know much about foreign policy, nuclear policy, the Korean peninsula or the world generally,” Mr Obama said after the official summit this morning.

What do you think about this? Do you think that Islamic State would turn to nuclear weapons? Do you think that this issue is real as Mr Obama is saying? Discuss about it and let us know below, and stay safe!
