I’m the youngest in my house by a lot. My sister is 7 and a half years older than me and my brother is 9 years older, so I was constantly the target of bullying throughout my childhood. My childhood consisted of being embarrassed in front of my friends by them, having my teachers compare me to my siblings based on how they behaved in school and having my parents take about 10 minutes to remember my name after going through the names of everyone else in the house. You never get the blame for anything!
I always used to argue with my siblings, but never got told off because they were older and my parents just said they should know better. It was great.

Free clothes
They’ll be hand me downs and might look a bit old fashioned, but they’re free so who could say no… right?!

The rules don’t apply to you
You get the freedom to do anything you want because your parents have been through it all before and they’re much more chill now. You’ll get away with everything.

Youngest siblings tend to be more creative
Studies have shown that due to parents not giving the youngest as much attention when it comes to education, it gives them a huge advantage when it comes to creativity and more opportunities to think outside of the box. Plus, like I mentioned above, they give you more freedom which helps to develop creative minds.

You develop a thick skin
If your siblings picked on you half as much as mine did, you learn to ignore it all and not let it bother you.

You learn from their mistakes
Free life lessons. If they do something stupid you’ll always remember how much trouble they were in for it and you’ll know to never make the same mistake.
