Are they really all rainbows & love hearts? I think so, yes; especially when you find the right one. If you’re not waking up smiling & feeling like the luckiest person on earth every morning then you are in the wrong relationship.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not sunshine & unicorns 24/7 but for at least the majority of the time there shouldn’t be drama or negativity. It takes a lot of time, experience, & mistakes before finding this euphoric feeling. It’s simple chemistry yet some of us get it so wrong; I know I did for a very long time! But I have learnt that life is a journey & we encounter so many obstacles that test our strength, resilience, & patience. Over the years I learnt to love myself, have a relationship with myself, & get to know the real me. I became certain in my own decisions, confident in my own skin, and as fabulous as I could be. Only then did I attract the right sort of person to let into my life & start up a relationship with. Remember: The happier you are, the happier the relationship.
