Much controversy can be contributed to the scuffle that has been created by Donald Trump’s executive order. For those that are unfamiliar with the order, it effectively suspends the United States refugee program from seven majority Muslim nations and would also temporarily halt those traveling or immigrating from said countries.

The order is currently under question by the 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco, and if denied, could travel to the highest court in the United States – the Supreme Court. Trump’s executive order was made under the claim of national security to protected the land’s people, but some lawyers have said otherwise, claiming that the order would hurt many neighborhoods as well as businesses and organizations, and it could be called unconstitutional. The 9th US Circuit is considered one of the most liberal courts in the nation which goes some way to explaining their dissent, so it seems the US Supreme Court will probably be asked to weigh in on the case where further action will be determined once the circuit court smack the order to the ground.
