When Bots were released into the Catalogue early in November the problem faced was that players couldn’t rename them. They were all called Robbie and when changing the clothes to reflect a female it was noticeable that the default name given wasn’t unisex!
A recent update occurred with the ability to rename the Bots to whatever name you wished, providing it wasn’t against the filter placed on the client – now Robbie can play Habbo again without people clicking on him to check if he was real! What I’ve noticed though, is many change the Bot’s clothes to reflect their normal outfit on Habbo and to go with this they also change the Bot’s name to their character’s name.
I’ve seen Bots called xxMATTGxx and Tyler but there are endless outcomes for their name; they can also reflect the gender they are! However, although some names are inappropriate for Habbo with codes released recently, no doubt players will begin attempting to avoid the filter – I haven’t seen one of those yet have you?
What do you think of this new update? Should it have been already in place when Bots were brought out? I would love to know your views, click Read More and Comment to leave them!
