Well, if that title wasn’t cheesy enough, the badge may be. A sparkling series of Spider-Man badges have been discovered in the deep depths of the hotel. No, they are not covered in spider webs (a lame pun!); yet, they are expected to be linked to the new Ultimate Spider-Man television series, rather than the actual upcoming film ‘Amazing Spider-Man’. 

Apart from the two adjectives, they may seem extremely similar. This reporter, my dear readers, has stopped engrossing himself in any Spider Man since the second film. Yet, as a good journalist, I went to Wikipedia to read all about it, because obviously Wikipedia is the guru of all sources. Basically (without all the droning and pages of summaries), it is an animated series based on the original Spider-Man comics, which people from your generation with all your iPads and computers won’t know exist. The second series is currently being filmed and can be viewed on certain channels, wherever you may live.

There are three badges in total, starting from SPI01 and finishing at SPI03. That really didn’t take a nuclear physicist to figure out. They all have Spider-Man in various non-sexual poses, as seen in the images to your right. Precise details on how to obtain and collect them are not yet available. However, you can rest assured that the number one news team in the Habbosphere will be on it as details trickle in. Nor is it clear whether this campaign will actually hit the .com hotel, as a little birdie tells us it will be only for .nl.

General comments and reviews on these badges have been mixed. Some are drooling all over these badges, whilst others think their appearance and design is far from the best and doesn’t float their boat.
