The theme was the past and the reaction was positive. That was the general gist of many of the staff tweets this week. There is talk of a return of the classic Wobble Squabble, which has entertained Habbos in years past. Also, Habbo will be releasing numerous rares throughout the months to come. However, it is unclear whether they we be classified under the ‘rare’ category, classically seen in years past, yet it is widely believed to be quite a plausible option. Another artifact that will be making a return is the camera. You may have read an earlier news story about a possible return. Now Sulake CEO Paul Lafontaine all but confirms this.

In other developments, a number of top Sulake officials have agreed with the fact that there has been an increase in the amount of bogus bans floating around as of late. However, they did not state a solution for the said problem, instead simply apologizing to numerous individuals affected. In terms of fansite developments, it has been a pretty quiet week apart from the implementation of a new ‘Project Welcome’, of which more details are to come and a new fansite badge within the hotel, which top fansite officials/ management members will receive. It is clear that fansites for Habbo have become less of an exclusive club with the list of inductees growing at a rapid pace.  Also, developers are looking into a way to shift the off-client groups onto the actual client, as well as making the client more central, a concept that was lost after numerous upgrades in 2006.

By the end of the week, as announced by Sulake staff, the hotel will be hit by a number of cool Easter furniture pieces. It guarantees to be an exciting collection with a mix of both vintage and new furniture, allowing you maximum choice to bling your rooms up for the festive period. Finally, Sulake has announced plans to further modernize its accessibility in the implementation of Habbo on the iOS operating system (for iPhones) in the weeks to come.
