The wheels on this bus don’t go round and round!
With the London 2012 opening ceremony tonight theres not a time more perfect then now. A huge double decker bus has been transformed into an athelete doing push ups. I can confirm that the bus does indeed moves up and down doing actual pushups. It’s quite amazing to watch. The Czech artist David Cerny is the creator of this Olympic themed piece of gigantic art. He bought the bus in Holland and then attached two huge electrical arms to each side of it. To watch the video of the artwork search on Youtube London bus doing pushups. You won’t be dissapointed! It is powered by an electrical engine and each push up is completed with sounds. There are also video projections on the windows of the bus. The artist hopes the vehicle named The London Booster will become the unofficial mascot of the Olympic Games. When being talked to about this particular red artwork he commented saying, “We will see how long the athlete can work out for. Let’s hope he will exercise for the full three weeks. He will be the biggest sportsman there”.
