Look what we have here! PROMOTIONS! Habbos must now pay credits to make events for their rooms, now called promotions, and these last 2 hours and can be seen on the promotions tab of the navigator. Habbos all over the hotel have complained about the promotions as they find the price shocking. Habbos are forced to pay 1c for each promotion, and these complaints have spread from forums to social networking.

A few days ago players were using ‘#PayingForHabbo’ all over the popular social network Twitter. It seems that habbo are simply not helping themselves escape this name as it seems all that the CEO wants is some profit. Some of the older habbos think that Habbo is just dying by the day, here are some of the voices that we captured:

“Another nail in the coffin of the community.” – TM
“Pathetic how you have to pay.” – GoldenMerc
“1c for 2 hours is an absolute joke really.” – Aaron

The majority of habbos are tending to agree with these comments, but will something be done about it? The recent history of the hotel suggests that Habbo will be keeping this campaign, but will the community put an end to the ‘#PayingForHabbo’ scandal?
