The Tree of Life by -Sno0
By - Posted 4th July, 2015 at 9:45 pm

This gorgeous room was built by -Sno, and in this article I shall be covering what I feel is good and what I feel could be improved this room, as well as giving my overall opinion and rating it.

Pros –

The tree is a marvelous sight to behold, being very cleverly illusion stacked so that you can actually sit in it, as well as walk under it. I love the use of Tiki Bars to make the trunk of the tree, and also to make the wonderful hut to the far left of the room. The river made out of Dark Water is also pretty stunning, and the way the Swamp Logs act as bridges is something I really like. The Totem Planet acting as a moon in the top of the room is also a very nice idea, and the way it has been clouded by Fog is very effective. Finally, the way the Comfort Cradles hang down from the tree is marvelous and really creates a feel of a place to rest.

Cons –

The transition between Lost Tribe Patches and Swamp Patches feels slightly messy. Also the Baobab Trees in the actual tree feel a bit out of place, having very different tops to the other trees used. Also, not to be pedantic but the swamp logs closer to the screen feel like they lead into the water and not to the other side, even though they do technically lead there, and this makes it feels a bit incomplete, I personlly would like to see these logs 1 space to the left. Lastly, the Garden Leaves feel a bit closely packed and I personally feel that they should be more spread out.

Overall this room is very pretty and I was impressed when I saw it earlier today. There are only a few things I would change, and for this reason I am going to score it 9 out of 10. If you would like to share your views on this room, click “Read More & Comment”.
