After what was an incredible year for Sigma, gaining three chart topping hits including a collaboration with Paloma Faith, the duo are back with their chart topping drum and bass formula, working with Ella Henderson for the track Glitterball. She is also no stranger and earned a #1 single with her debut single Ghost despite placing just 6th on The X Factor UK in 2012. Years & Years stun us once again with their fifth single from their debut album Communion. This trio dominated the UK chart earlier this year with undeniable hit King and are becoming an unstoppable force with their latest release. Previously, the band won the BBC Sound of 2015 award, which sent them straight into the limelight. At its heart, the track is synth-pop with a contagious chorus, perfect for those summer nights around a barbecue. Foxes – Body Talk / MUSIC VIDEO

So far this year, Foxes has kept a low profile, after featuring on Zedd’s 2013 hit single Clarity – which won a Grammy Award – and her 2014 debut album Glorious, which is adored by many. Foxes is now hoping to recreate this success with her second album, debuting the track Body Talk on Radio 1 last month. The track has a real ’80s synth-pop feel to it, which is also reflected in the official music video, where she sports a pair of tube socks and rollerskates, breaking out some moves at an American gas station – it certainly makes us want to boogie on the dance floor! M.I.A – Swords / MUSIC VIDEO

Veteran rap goddess M.I.A. makes a comeback with Swords, the first release from her upcoming album Matahdatah. Those unfamiliar with M.I.A. will surely remember her infamous “Paper Planes” which introduced her to the music industry. Swords is a triumph, combining her history with Asian-inspired sounds and the progressive new style of contemporary hip hop. The track is part of an audiovisual project, released on Apple Music on the 14th of July, called Matahdatah Scroll 01 Broader Than a Border.
