The mute has caused many problems around the Hotel; one being that people’s VIP is going to waste as they have nothing to do on Habbo or they aren’t being able to use the privileges to their full potential. However today Habbo gave VIP members 31 days VIP as compensation for this. This has been automatically added to the player’s current days of VIP – strangely before the mute has ended

We are still unsure when Habbo will be unmuted so players might have to wait for longer; even up to weeks, which means that this may not fully compensate them. At the moment, however, the English speaking Habbo Hotel has only been muted for about 2 weeks.

Up till now, Habbo has still been enjoyable with the primitive approach to playing through the Habbo form of sign language, but some Habbos have been annoyed by the lengthy time of having nothing to do. The funny thing though is that some Habbos have received more than 31 days VIP, with some claiming to have around 40, and some even trying to trick the community into thinking they had 33 thousand days!
