Walt Disney Resort by Pairz0

This fabulous room was made by Pairz, and I shall be reviewing it in this article.

One of my friends showed me this room today, and I instantly fell in love with it. I have a penchant for the Clock Tower items and therefore this really is my sort of room. There are numerous things to say about this room, and these will lead towards my final rating.

Pros

The room is reasonably symmetrical, and looks rather neat, and the Marble Tile path looks very neat and fabulous with the Clock Tower items and the Short Grass, which is quite a feat as normally Marble Tiles look quite bad unless used perfectly. The river running across the room looks excellent, and the Sailing Boats emphasise the size of what the room is portraying wonderfully well. The river also deals with the problem caused by the steps nicely, making them look like the bank. The use of the Clock Towers is very convincing, creating a feeling of a magical fairytale castle like those frequently used in Disney films. Finally, at the entrance to the castle, the way the water hasn’t been stacked on leaving a small bit of green visible between the Clock Towers and the river actually creates a nice effect where it looks like you can see the castle going under the water slightly.

Cons

The swap between Petal Patches and Short Grass looks messy to be honest, and would look better if it was all Short Grass or a straight line of Petal Patches. The Imperial Teleport doesn’t feel like it fits in here, and a Door Teleport would likely suffice better in this occasion. The left side of the castle across the river looks a bit empty also, and could do with more plants or maybe a picnic area. Finally, picky as it may be, the rotation of the Clock Towers has left some with darker sides then others. It would have looked best if they had all been matched on each different side so as to get a shading effect.

Rating

To summarise, this is an excellent room and definitely has a lot going for it, with a few errors that could be improved upon, and therefore I have decided to rate it 9 out of 10. If you disagree with any of this, or would like to share your views on the room, click “Read More & Comment”.
