Many newcomers on Habbo generally ask what it really takes to make your room popular. And for many, they struggle! In reality, though, populating your room can be quite easy! Hopefully I can educate you and give you a few tips as to what you should be doing to spark interest.

Be Unique

I cannot tell you how many times that I’ve seen, for example, a starting army or agency try to gain some traffic.
It’s not that the room isn’t astonishing, because it probably is, but you really need to focus on the aspect and intentions of your militia, military, army, etc.

They almost always fail. But why?
Go to your navigator and search the following: “army”
I guarantee that there will be too many to count. This is why you need to learn to introduce a new idea that people will be interested in no matter how hard it is.

Invite Your Friends

I can, in fact, stress this enough. Invite your friends, but don’t force them.
I, again, cannot tell you how many times I have had to delete friends just because they’ve spammed my account with room invites. It just doesn’t work that way. Invite your friends on the occasion, and those interested will follow.

Another great way to receive traffic is tell your friends to invite their friends.
Only the Lord knows how many they have and how many are involved and somewhat concurrent.

Use The Tools That Habbo Provides You With

The title says it all. Use your tools. As of May of 2015, you are able to promote your room. This is done by the ‘Promote Room’ button in the top right.
It may cost some money and it may bring in only a few, but it is worth the try.

If you are new to Habbo, hopefully those three tips will increase your traffic. Don’t sit in your room and expect people to come; work for it!
