The Petal Patch is an absolute beauty of a furni. It first appeared during 2003 in the UK hotel, and was later released in the catalogue for 14 days at the price of 25 credits. It is today considered a “classic” rare, and a favourite for us old-timers (or should I say Habbo Boomers?)

This month was a busy one at Habbox; not only with the Habbox Summer Spectacular (HxSS) making a return for the 12th year, but also with several management changes. We sadly had to say goodbye to Joe who decided it was time for him to resign from his role as Forum Manager and ExtraKen who decided to step down from his role as Ambassadors Manager. However, we also welcomed back Hannah who has returned to her old role of HabboxLive Manager!

This month’s edition of The ‘Box will cover the overall winners of the HxSS tournament, the winners of the department competitions, and the awards – so if you missed the HxSS Awards on Sunday, not to worry! We also have some quotes that have been sent in, another trip down memory lane looking back at both Habbo and Habbox history, as well as a spotlight on a certain department and a Habbox member!

Hey guys and welcome to this latest Habbox History article! These articles aim to take you back in time on a nostalgic throwback to the depths of Habbox’s past! Today, we’ll be hearing more memories from some of our older members.

As Habbox’s 13th birthday celebrations continue, today I’m bringing you another nostalgic throwback into the depths of Habbox’s past. Firstly, I would like to congratulate the winner from the previous articles competition, dudejohnmar. He has won himself 10 points towards the birthday event! Today’s article focuses mainly on one year- 2011! I will be zooming back in time exactly 5 years ago and sharing with you lots of fun facts and screenshots which may bring back some memories! It is natural that there is some pride felt by some players when we start talking about Habbo. We from Habbox after all… we defend this feeling more than anything. Firstly, because it is a game that has survived in the gaming world as we saw a crazy evolution where everything is changing a in very crazy way: realistic, three-dimensional graphics and voice acting to name a few new features. Plus, Habbo has its history and an incredible evolution trajectory, but without having to abandon that simple, but so detailed style… go figure! We made a little search of these interesting facts about the early years of Habbo Hotel, and a few things more, that maybe you do not know yet, but worth knowing if you have an explorer’s soul!
