You may have seen a few bits and bobs around the place recently about our special Content Week stuff. If you have, congratulations on being excellent. If not, it’s not too late to get involved!

Our overarching theme is “time travel”, and while we sadly don’t have a real working time machine of our own (think of the profitz to be made) I invite you now to step back in time with me to an old version of the hotel… the first I started on way back in 2001!

The UK version of Habbo Hotel is no longer with us, since merging with other English-speaking hotels to become the massive .com hit that we all use now.

Here’s a cheeky snap of what the old .co.uk hotel looked like once upon a time:

Iconic. Makes me weep with nostalgia.

Habbo UK was an instant hit – not only in its homeland, but also abroad as those who perhaps found Finnish a difficult language to grasp flocked to the .co.uk site to find friends.

The poor little bus driver never got time off, he was constantly doing the rounds on the animated home page.

For your task here, it’s just a little history quiz. The answers can all be found on our wiki if you need help, and you should send me a PM with the answers once you have them all. One particularly lucky Habbo will be rewarded with a beefy 30 Content Week points for their efforts! Will it be you? Probably not if you don’t enter, so bloody do it.
