Habbo and customisation go together so well, but if you think about it, they don’t at all. Sure you could say every room is unique, but all rooms use the same thing. Board games have dice, agencies have kitchen counters, mazes have coloured tiles and most houses use golden fences. The same goes with outfits. People say they are all unique. Those people have never seen the hotel. Have you seen how many people use that white tracksuit and hat with the red horns? Not very unique, is it? Read on!

Even when you break the boundaries of common furni, there is still another problem: furni itself. If you want to make a room your own, you have to use furni no one else has. This is unfortunately impossible. Unless you could make your own furni…

Habbo should have a system where people into pixel art can design their own furniture or clothes. This should come with a price though, otherwise it will ruin trading completely. Once someone has made this item, they can then mass produce and sell it, or keep it to themselves. This system would make another problem though.

There are some really sick minded people playing Habbo these days. Some would take advantage of the system to make inappropriate or offensive furni and clothes. A way to avoid this is to let moderators determine whether or not they can use the item before it is materialised, but there are so few mods these days, it would take forever!

My conclusion: No. It is impossible to make a Habbo room completely original. Any thoughts? Put them in the comments. Whether they support my decision or negate it, I love them all.
