Following the Manchester Arena terrorist attack, the terror threat level in the UK has risen! Find out more by hitting the “read more” button now! WARNING: This topic is quite unsettling!
On Monday 22nd May 2017 Manchester had faced a terrible tragedy when a bomb exploded in Manchester Arena. Ariana Grande was performing at a concert with around 21,000 attending when the bomb exploded, injuring many people and killing 22 in the blast.
Unfortunately the bombing has resulted in the UK terror threat level being increased from “severe” to “critical”. Critical is the highest possible level on the scale and further attacks are now considered “very likely” to occur “imminently“. This means that it might not be long before another terrorist attack happens.
Bigger cities now have armed police and military personnel patrolling the streets. There will also be safety measures taken when it comes to big events to ensure the safety of the people in the UK. This is something that the people of the country are going to have to get used to for now.
