Three Songs, The Rest Are Out1
By - Posted 20th April, 2017 at 3:34 pm Entertainment

If you could only listen to three songs for the rest of your life, what songs would you choose? The question is more complicated then it might seem. God forbid you choose something you might get tired of really fast, like Who Let The Dogs Out” Even if you make a good choice, you would still feel bad for the songs you really like, but had no space for on this list. To learn of my choice, read on. Just don’t judge me.

1: This Is Me, Oh Roxy

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFnSq8n5djw

I absolutely love this song! I have since my ears laid eyes on it (Imagine that for nightmares). I could even say it’s my anthem. Roxy auditioned for Idols South Africa Season 10, where she placed in the top 9 of the competition. Shortly after, she released this masterpiece. The song highlights being okay with being different, and does it by kicking ***! Nearly no one knows about it, but the rhythm on that tune is awesome! Couldn’t live without this one.

2: I Like It That Way, Vernon Barnard

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXorp2PLYV0

Vernon, who competed in The Voice South Africa, took the Blind Auditions phase of the contest quite literally. He showed up to his audition without sight! That’s irony, kids. Disabilities aside, he got pretty far in the competition, and wrote a kick-*** song later, this song. The song addresses nearly the same thing as This Is Me: originality. Letting go of the lyrics for a sec, wow, Vernon can sing! And the guitar background is awesome.

3: Ex’s and Oh’s

I can’t say I’m a fan of the video. Easy on the half naked men, Elle! Dirty video aside, the song is amazing. Ignore the lyrics for a sec too, I see it as a symbol for being able to let go of something despite how tightly it holds onto you. We all know that’s a lie. This song makes Elle seem to have an ego bigger than the sun! I just enjoy the music itself. It’s like pop and rock had a child and called it awesome! The crescendo has me hypnotized.

Tell me what you think! I’d like to see your three song choices. Leave it in the comments below! Also, if you liked this article, then materialize that like and throw it on your computer screen!

Please note, I will not be held responsible for any damage caused by the contact between the like and the screen, so be gentle with that like of yours.

Until next time,

Kray
